tooth EXTRACTION

Pull away your dental worries!

A tooth extraction involves the use of manual forceps or surgical intervention for the permanent removal of a tooth from its socket. It is usually the treatment of choice when all other methods of treating an infected tooth, such as root canal, prove ineffective or inadequate. You may require a tooth extraction if

  • You have extra teeth or overcrowding.

  • Your milk teeth have not yet moved.

  • You have developed an infection in your tooth and there is risk of the infection spreading.

  • For extraction of wisdom tooth.

At Cheezal we offer simple tooth extraction, complicated surgical extraction as well as wisdom tooth surgical extraction.

SIMPLE TOOTH EXTRACTION

The removal of teeth from the mouth that are visible requires a simple dental extraction. To numb the area and lessen the discomfort experienced by the patient, a local anesthetic is used.

COMPLICATED SURGICAL EXTRACTION

The removal of teeth that are difficult to reach inside the mouth requires surgical dental extraction. This might be the case if they have been shattered beneath the gum line or if they have not fully burst through the gum. To reach the tooth for extraction, an incision is made into the gum tissue that surrounds it. The tooth may often need to be fragmented to be extracted surgically. General anaesthesia is typically administered for this procedure.

WISDOM TOOTH SURGICAL EXTRACTION

The removal of wisdom teeth involves pulling out your third molars, which are the four permanent adult teeth located in the back of your mouth, in both the upper and lower jaws, that typically erupt between the ages of 17 and 21. Wisdom teeth frequently erupt from the gums at an angle or remain completely or partially impacted in the jawbone. A variety of issues may result from this, necessitating extraction.
